• How might getting the materials effect the earth and environment.
• Record notes on post it beside each product. Get ready to share your thoughts

• Have used design skills to create a sustainable design.

RESEARCH INTO SUSTAINABLE DESIGN

THE 6 R'S

• Using iPads research into what the 6 R's are.
• Create a research page in your books. You should include...
• Definitions of what each "R" is.
• Sketches of sustainable products
• Information on brands or companies that have sustainable products.
• (Those students that are doing this in DT look at the next slide)

DETAILED PRODUCT ANALYSIS

• Complete a product analysis of the product given to you.
• Use the access fm criteria and prompt sheets to help you
• You should also comment on whether the product is sustainable and if nothow it may be made so
• You have 25 minutes

PRODUCT REDESIGN

• Your are now going to redesign a product to make it more sustainable.
• You will be redesigning the product on your table
• You must complete these design ideas in your books with colour and annotation.

PRODUCT REDESIGN

• When redesigning you must do it based on the "R" at your table.
• These will rotate after 10 minutes!
• So you must work quick!
