The first europeans arrived to ontario by boat. European and french explorers went down the the St. Lawrence River into Lake Ontario in 1610.

The population of Ontario in 2011 was 12,851,821 people. It must have increased since then.The land area of Ontario is about 908,607 square kilometers

Some of the major cities are Toronto,Ottawa, Mississauga, Brampton, Hamilton, London, Markham.

Manufacturing, Industrialization and Agriculture.

Lakes, Areas with a lot of Minerals and mining gold, zinc, iron ore, copper, uranium and forests for timber.

English is the official language but there are some people that talk french. Languages that are rarely spoken in ontario are Chinese, Italian, German, Polish, Spanish, Punjabi, Ukrainian and Portuguese. Music heard in Ontario are jazz, classical music, blues, Hiphop and punk music. Rapper Drake is from ontario.
