• Overall goal: students will do research about important historical events in the country they chose.

Objectives

• Students will read definition what historical event is and why it is important, using provided materials.
• Students will do research about some events from the country they assigned, using materials from library and online searching tool, then make a presentation.
• Groups will do presentation to the class.

Procedures

• The teacher will introduce a sample historical event from their own country and explain how it impact on the country.
• Explain to the students that they are expected to present some events that relate to the country.

Procedures

• Take groups to school's library to let them do research on books.
• Take groups to computer lab to do research online.
• Give feedback and minor support if they need.

Procedures

• Give out assessment to each group after the presentation.
• Allow students to have some more days to make some changes and submit the presentation later.

Assessment

• Students point out some important historical events.
• Students explain how the events affect on the country.
