- 4)were not allowed in the first coffeehouse in England, which was founded in 1650
17-19TH CENTRY
- Peopel started sending there kids around for education
- Mostly it started with the British
- The event was called le grand tour
1800-1850
- Cotton sales were high and slaves as free workers

- The gold rush boosted hotel sales near the river

- 2008 - Proximity Hotel in Greensboro, NC earns the level of certification
