  • The expedition of Lewis and Clark traveled to the west
  • The expedition encouraged people to settle westward

  • She was the guide for Lewis and Clarks expedition
  • She carried her baby during the expedition
  • She was in the expedition for about 18 months
  • They went about 4,000 miles they went separate ways
