TYPE OF GOVERNMENT

• The AZA Government is a representative democracy

WHY DO WE NEED GOVERNMENT?

• We need government because it provides structure and organization
• Without it there would be a mass amount of chaos

WHAT ARE SOME OF THE THINGS THE NEW GOVERNMENT NEEDS TO DO FOR ITS CITIZENS?

• Protect the rights of the citizens
• Follow the constitution
• Supply enough jobs for the economy to be successful
• Provide defense incase there are more zombies
• Provide a currency

WILL EVERYONE HAVE THE SAME RIGHTS?

• Yes, because everyone is equal

WILL THE PEOPLE VOTE ON HOW THE GOVERNMENT RUNS?

• Yes because its a democracy and the people rule!

IF THERE ARE ELECTED OFFICIALS, HOW LONG WILL THEIR TERMS BE?

• There will be an election every 5 years

HOW WILL THE GOVERNMENT ESTABLISH LAWS?

• There will be a legislative branch of government to establish our laws
• The people will suggest laws and the legislative branch will vote on it
• If 2/3 votes then the law will pass

WHAT IF SOMEONE BREAKS A LAW?

• Pay a fine
• Jail/Prison
• Complete a program
• Community service

HOW WILL THE PUNISHMENT BE HANDLED?

• There will be an elected body of 10 jury members
• Appointed judge

WILL THERE BE CAPITAL PUNISHMENT?

• Yes, if the crime is bad enough
• The capital punishment will be exile

WILL THERE BE A WRITTEN CONSTITUTION?

• Yes because is helps shape and run the government

HOW CAN IT BE AMENDED?

• Voted on by elected officials and if it reaches a 1/2 then it will be amended
