PRESENTATION OUTLINE
It's the 1970s and all I have to do my paperwork on is a typewriter. Only the rich people have microcomputers which aren't very handy either. Ugh I hope somebody comes up with a better way. SOON!!!!
The Beginnning of Microsoft
In 1975 Bill Gates and his partner Paul Allen started Microsoft, after seeing that personal computing was a path to the future. The first thing they started to work on was the MOS-DOS.
MS-DOS: Microsoft Disking Operating System
The MS-DOS is a software that runs the computer hardware and also serves to bridge the gap between computer hardware and programs, such as a word processor. In 1981 it is possible to type the letter "c" and various cryptic commands gradualy becomes part of daily work. Also people were now able to use the backslash "/" key. This system was effective but was difficult to understand. Then Microsoft got to working on a less confusing software.
Many, Many Years Later
After many advances and inventions Microsoft has grown to be one of the largest technological industries. File systems have a lot of new additions such as the CIFS, DFS, and DFSR. Also they have a new data protection backup which is nice to have just in case something went wrong. They also have new internet servers. As you can see Microsoft has come a long way from 1975.
