Yom Kippur

Yom Kippur means "Day of Atonement." That means what the holiday is.

Yom Kippur is on the 10th day of 7th month called Tishri. Yom Kippur last 25 hours.

On Yom Kippur people wearing leather shoes and Orthodox Jews wear canvas sneakers under their dress clothes. People wear white because our sins shall be made as white as snow.

They go trough a 25 hour fast. That means you can not eat in that 25 hour time period.

They fast during Yom Kippur. They pray during Yom Kippur also.
