Sulfur
The atomic mass of the element S is 32.07 and its atomic number is 16 which is close to half that of the atomic mass of sulfur. The discoverer of sulfur is unknown as is the country it was discovered in. But we do know that sulfur is a non-metal element that is solid at room temperature. We also know that it was discovered in the year 5000 B.C.

PHYSICAL PROPERTIES

  • Sulfur is a yelowish,breakable solid.
  • Faint smell with no taste.
  • Water cannot make it wet.
  • It has a melting point of 234.04
  • It's boiling point is 832.406

CHEMICAL PROPERTIES

  • Sulfur is a non-metal.
  • Found in nature most commonly as a solid.
  • It cannot rust.
  • Sulfur can be used with other materials to make skin medicine.
  • With other materials it can catch fire.

Sulfur
Sulfur has many different uses. One of them is sulfuric acid,which is used to make fertilizer. It is also used in lead acid batteries. Used to make gunpowder and is also used as a dying agent. Sulfur is more important than it seems.
