NPAGS ADULTS

  • Think of movement as an opportunity, not an inconvenience
  • Be active every day in as many ways as you can
  • At least 30minutes of mod PA on most, preferably all, days
  • Enjoy some regular, vigorous activity for extra health and fitness
  • What are the benefits of following these guidelines?

APARs 5-12 AND 12-18

  • 60 minutes, up to several hours, of moderate to vigorous PA every day
  • Do not spend more than 2 hrs a day using technology
  • What should be the focus for each age group and why?
