About Niger
LOCATION
Niger is located in Africa. Niger's neighboring countries include Nigeria, Chad, Algeria, Mali, and Burkina Faso.
CLIMATE
Niger's climate is hot and dry. In fact, while I was there I was continually hydrating myself because it was so hot.
FUN THINGS I DID
In Niger
CAMEL RIDING
A fun thing I did in Niger was camel riding. Niger is truly an amazing place to see while on the back of a camel!
VISIT A FARM
The farms are very interesting in Niger. Crops are grown near the River Niger and Lake Chad because the soil is more fertile.
CATTLE CELEBRATIONS
In these festivals it is commen to see someone try to ride the head of a bull. I was amused when I went to one because of this.

WOMEN ARE HARD WORKERS IN NIGER
When their husbands leave for months or years they are in charge of all their own work and their husbands work.
JOBS IN NIGER
Jobs in Niger include the making of textiles, leatherwork, and jewelry. The most important jobs involve agriculture though.

Yes, there was thousands of years ago. We know this because many hieroglyphics depict this.
