Sports Broadcasting

• My whole life has been surrounded by sports, playing and watching. I’ve been raised by my father who played all kinds of sports in high school and knows many things about different sports. For as long as I can remember I’ve always watched sports with my dad from baseball to soccer, consistently asking him question. I started to learn from a young age the rules and reasons in football and baseball mainly so as I got older the more my knowledge grew. I started to play my own sports and fell in love with every sport I did, it became a passion. Then as my personality grew I started to become less and less shy, always wanting to talk to people about anything. Slowly grew to realize that I can combine the knowledge I love for sports and passion, with people and loving to talk.

• Grew up a Texas Longhorn fan but attended Texas A&M
• Matt has been at KVUE going on 10 years in July.
• First job was a bureau reporter at KRHD-TV (CBS) in Bryan, Texas.
