  • 5.Dia de los muertos is similr to memorial day in The united States,but it is more a celebration of the dead and welcoming of the sprits.

  • 1.Ofrendas(altars) are usually made and decorated for a deceased family member to bring them back.
  • 2.The offenders are decorated with objects/symbols they liked, candles,flowers,and traditionally a cross.

My great grandpa's altar

  • If i had to make an altar for a deceased family member,i would have chose my great grandpa,Leroy elton.HE was always happy to see us when he lived and was really close to my mother and my uncle.

  • 3.A G.m. ornament-because he worked at general motors for 35 years.
