It takes place in the book when Santiago has no money but he decides to work for a crystal merchant for an entire 10 months and still goes to Egypt to find his treasure, not only here but throughout the book because how many challenges Santiago faces but still has the courage and strength to continue his quest. The reason this feeling is so powerful is that there is always something that motivates you to try your hardest and never give up.
