PWA ESTABLISHMENT
June 16, 1933

PURPOSE
It was created in response to the Great Depression
It's purpose was to create projects paid by the government to help revive the economy from the Great Depression
4.
AFFECTS/BENEFITS
A benefit is the PWA built schools, hospitals, bridges, and dams for communities
It affected people who didn't have jobs because the PWA gave them jobs
5.
SUCCESSFUL?
The PWA was successful because the PWA funded more than 34,000 projects
Some of those 34,000 projects included airports, electricity-generating dams, and aircraft carriers

WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE TODAY
It ended in June 1941 because FDR moved industry toward war production and left his opposition to a sum of money that is too small, the PWA became not connected and abolished the PWA
