What these different careers have in common

  • They all require a high-level proficiency in computer skills
  • All the careers have jobs that are very well paying
  • For all related university courses, it is mandatory that you take U-level Math and Science

Job Availability and Demand

  • Most jobs in these careers are in high-demand now and will be in the future
  • Software Engineers and Computer Hardware Engineers are examples of these jobs

  • Write programs (software) that can do various things from controlling a robot to being able to communicate over long distances
  • Create the user-interface for everything you use today

Different tools and equipment

  • Laptops because of portability
  • Multiple screens for multitasking
  • Windows, Mac OS X or Linux depending on the project

Where they work and with whom

  • Software Engineers usually work from home or at an office
  • They usually work by themselves and communicate with other people through email and Skype
