PRESENTATION OUTLINE
AIR POLLUTION AND ITS EFFECTS ON PEOPLE, PLANT AND ANIMAL LIFE.
Many plants and animals are dying because of air pollution. Even small levels of pollution create discomfort for animals.
Most people ignore the fact that our planet is polluted more than ever before. Nobody really seems to care or wants to do anything about it.
I conducted a survey asking people if they would change their daily habits to help lessen the pollution in the air. About 75% of people said they wouldn't. People fail to see that many animals are dying because of air pollution and that animals are a very important part of our environment.
Air pollution is most dangerous to plants and animals when in the form of acid rain. Acid rain kills fish in lakes and streams by increasing the acidity of the water. Also, ozone pollution causes serious damage to the lung tissues of many animals.
