PRESENTATION OUTLINE
A- aftermath. The reason that books are banned in that society is because long ago people came to the conclusion that books cause feelings to be hurt. Therefore their disrupt society is the aftermath of a time when happiness was looked as a priority.

B- black. The people in their society that keep it corrupt are the firefighters, they burn books. The firefighters all are symbolized by black and black symbolizing evil. The firefighters are evil, by choice or not.

C- crazy. The people that are considered crazy in Ferenhight 451 are the ones that think about the whys and not the what's. The people that are crazy have to be separated to avoid more thought. Clarisse's grandpa thinks differently than everybody else and was put into an insane asylum.

D- deleted. In the past books were prevalent and thinking about things was taught. But the current society has deleted all books, thought provoking activities and all people that are different. By taking books away they delete the past to try to make the future perfect.

E- equal. When the people decided to change and eliminate books they tried to create equality. Of course it failed and the outsiders were not equal with the other people so they were killed or put in an asylum.

F- found. When Montag first met Cairesse it opened him up to reality. He had found that little voice in the back of his head and started to listen to it. Claresses family had never lost their true selves, so they never needed to find it.

G- grasp. In ferenhight 451 the true meaning of life isn't known. After encountering clairesse Montage tried to grasp every thing that he has been so close to his whole life. When Montag does grasp society he is considered a threat so he is terrified when he starts to.

H- heart. To feel things in an emotional way you have to have a "heart". The society in the book doesn't know how or what to feel with their heart. When a subject comes up that needs thought from the heart, the people studder because they've had that ability taken away.
