THE SOUL IS WHERE IDEAS ARE FOUND

• Humans get everything they know from the soul
• The soul is out of this world, but lives within a wordly figure
• Humanity sparks ideas through mental reflection
• The physical world restrains the souls potential
• Knowing is a Form generated from living

"THE HUMAN BODY IS THE PRISON OF THE SOUL"

• How can the soul live in unity if mankind cannot?
• Justice comes from unity
• Plato believes a just city-state will help people find their souls
• The soul is found outside of this realm
• However it coincides with this realm
