WORLD WAR II PROPAGANDAHUHBL
There was a lot of propaganda during the war.
Propaganda: information used to promote or publicize a particular cause of point of view.
There was propaganda to pubicize war bonds and stamps, victory gardens, and propaganda to tell the vetrans what NOT to do.
War bonds and stamps were papers you could by to help the government pay for the supplies they needed for the war, and in the future you could redeem them for money.
Victory gardens were planted by families to make sure there were no food shortages and the gardens were planted to feed the troops. There were posters and adds in newspapers for the gardens.
There were also comics about WWII and some of the DC comics had covers and some content to promote the war and what was happening.
There was also a good animated propaganda market during the war. Did you know that there was a cartoon telling the soldiers what NOT to do and one cartoon was written by Dr. Seuss and voiced by Mel Blanc, the voices for almost ALL of the Loony Tunes characters.
