JUPITER

  • Jupiter is the largest and most massive planet
  • Jupiter has a thick atmosphere made up mainly of hydrogen and helium
  • A especially exciting feature of Jupiter's atmosphere is the Great Red Spot, its a storm that is larger than Earth
  • The pressure of Jupiter's core is 30 million times greater than the pressure at Earth's surface
  • Jupiter has 4 moons

SATURN

  • Saturn is the second largest planet in the solar system
  • Saturn like other planets has a thick atmosphere made up of mainly hydrogen and helium
  • Saturn's largest moon Titan is bigger than the planet Mercury

URANUS

  • Uranus is much smaller than Saturn and Jupiter

  • Uranus has 25 moons

NEPTUNE

  • Neptune and Uranus look like twins because they are similar in size and color
  • Scientists think that Neptune is slowly shrinking
  • Like the Great Red Spot on Jupiter,Neptune has something called the Great Dark Spot
  • Neptune has 13 moons

PLUTO

  • Unlike other outer planets has a solid surface and is much denser than the other outer planets
  • Pluto is smaller than Earth's moon
  • Pluto's moon is more than one half the size of Pluto itself
