Protecting Student Data

What happens behind the scenes when we access the internet?

- Companies collect information when users visit a website. This info is used to help tailor the user's experience by providing relevant ads and remembering information typed in to various fields.
- Although it is impossible for us to avoid all data collection when using the internet in school, we are required to follow COPPA guidelines for protecting student data.
