PAST HISTORY/DISPUTES

  • After WWI the Nazis felt the Treaty of Versailles was only focused on
  • them. Because of the treaty they began building back up their army and
  • eventually started taking back land. This led to WWII.

RETALIATION

  • The Twin Towers are an example because we retaliated to an Al-Quida
  • terrorist attack. Because of the terrorists we brought war to the Middle East.
  • We mainly focused on two countries, Iraq and Afghanistan. These are suspected
  • locations of important Al-Quida members..

CONTINUED

  • Another example of retaliation is the Attack on Pearl Harbor. Because of
  • the Japanese attack we joined WWII. We also ended up dropping two atomic
  • bombs on two important Japanese cities.

THREATS

  • I believe threats is he 3rd reason why nations go to war. Just think,
  • someone threatens to blow up the White House. Are we going to let them
  • off the hook, OF COURSE NOT! The War of Darfur is another example of a
  • threat. The government threatened non- Arabs to leave the country.
  • This resulted in thousands of deaths by the government.
