Chinchillas live in groups and make their home in burrows.

DIET

Chinchillas are herbivores,it means chinchillas eat plants.

HABITAT

  • Chinchillas habitat is in dry places and also in mountainous regions.
  • Chinchillas are native of Peru and Chile.

Behavioral Adaptation

Chinchillas defend herself by defensive form on its two hind legs allows it to be impossible to be caught.

PHYSICAL ADAPTIONS

  • A chinchilla may lose its fur because of becoming nervous.
  • A chinchilla may lose its fur to escape from a predator.
