When hearing about Alexander the Great you never get to hear all the facts about his life. People only tell you about the good things that he accomplished in his life. Underneath all of that Alexander had real issues that made him become the person that he was.
For example, Alexander the Great had real terrible family issues. His mother Queen Olympia and father King Phillip II hated each other and it caused the family to be in uproar. His mother always tired top play him against is father so that’s making him go crazy and don’t know which way to go. He loves his father, but he has his mother in his ear telling him why it is that he shouldn’t love his father. It was a very dysfunctional family. Also Alexander had a problem with following the laws of the land. He wanted to do whatever he wanted and didn’t care if his followers approved if not. For example, his followers didn’t agree with his marriage because the women wasn’t a Macedonian women, but he did it anyway because he was in love with her.
