  • A way of describing something by comparing it to something else; implied
  • Comparison between two unlike things without using like or as.
  • example; He is tall giraffe

Personification

  • To give human characteristies to something that is not human.
  • Example: My pencil is dancing on paper.

Alliteration

  • Repetition of the first consonant sound at the beginning of words.
  • Example: My mom makes cupcakes with me.

Onomatopoeia

  • When a words pronunciation imitates its sound.
  • example: Boom
