Industrial Revolution

New Energy Sources

Water, Steam and Coal
The use of steam to create energy replaced manual labor and created new higher wage jobs. Locomotives and steamboats allowed trade of goods across the country. This improved the standard of living and the health of everyone.

Mechanized Farm Tools

Seed Drill
Europe was an agricultural community where the seed grill was created. This tool allowed seeds to be inserted into the ground at equal depths which meant farmers didn't have to toss seeds unevenly. This led to more food to be grown which led to the well being of people and their health.

My opinion....

Locomotives & Steamboats
I believe that the most important invention during the Industrial Revolution was the locomotive and the steamboats. These allowed goods to be traded which meant medicine or fresh food can be delivered to areas that previously had nothing. This improved lives in many ways.
