THE STEAM ENGINE (1712)

  • Tomas Newcomen invented the first steam engine.
  • Was not great, but gave idea to people about using steam engine
  • Steam engine was used a lot for the industrial revolution
  • Power-up the factories, railways and shipping etc

THE SPINNING JENNY (1764)

  • James Hargreaves invented the spinning Jenny
  • Makes it easier to make clothe
  • Made a lot of people's work a lot easier and faster
  • More products can be made

THE LIGHTBULB (1879)

  • Thomas Edison created the lightbulb that lasted long
  • Lasted longer than all of the other design
  • People were able to do a lot of things at night
  • More products being made

THE MODEL T (1908)

  • Henry Ford created a car that was called Model T
  • The Model T was very cheap because it was made on an assembly line
  • A lot of people can buy this car because it is cheap
  • People can travel easier and faster
