'Twas The Night Before Christmas

PRESENTATION OUTLINE

'Twas the night before Christmas and all on the river,
There wasn't a soul outside except an old fly fisher.

The gnats were flying low and the fish flopping high,
But he hadn't caught one and couldn't fathom why.

As the night wore on he still didn't catch one,
It seemed that tonight the fish had won.

When all of a sudden a noise pierced the night,
And blaring music made the fish flee in fright.

He looked out at the river, his eyes were not keen,
But swore he could see tubers floating upstream.

The tubers got closer and as they drew nearby could see the tubers were Santa's reindeer.

And behind them they towed pasty white St. Nick,
And in the tube beside him the empty bag of gifts.

The fisher asked Santa, "Why are you floating at night?"
Santa replied, "I get to burned easy in sunlight."

Santa said, "I finished rounds early and I'm taking a break,
How about you join us, you seem alert and awake."

The fisher agreed and hopped into a tube,
And off they went, round the Guadalupe.
