Vitamin C

  • VitaminC builds strong connective tissue, and fights infections.
  • Vitamin C is found in foods like oranges, mangos, some vegetables, and tomatoes.
  • If the body does not receive enough Vitamin C the gums might get a disease called scurvy.

Potassium

Functions, foods, and deficiencys

  • Potassium maintains water in the body, and maintain muscle and nerve function.
  • Potassium is found in foods like bananas, grains, meat, fish, and vegetables.
  • With out potassium the body will get dehydrated, have an irregular heartbeat, and slows down development of muscle tissue.
