Mayflower compact-What is it?

  • The mayflower was signed in November 11,1620
  • Written agreement, to gaurentte that new settlers would get their land.
  • Established in what we call the "New United States."
  • The ship the english colonists sailed was called the Mayflower.
  • This ship was anchored in Provincetown Harbor Cape Cod, Massachusetts.

Where did the mayflower compact take place?

  • It took place on the mayflower ship in Plymouth.
  • Mayflower set sail from England in July 1620.
  •  "Speedwell" (the orginal ship) had to turn around twice due to a leak.
  • Leaving "Speed well" behind they finailly took off on September 6, 1620.
