SIR GAWAIN AND THE GREEN KNIGHT

THE ENTRANCE
The Green Knight entered the hall of King Arthur, searching for a worthy opponent. Sir Gawain stepped forward to volunteer against this rude monster of a man.
THE FIRST SWING
Sir Gawain came down on the bare neck of the Green Knight with immense power and swiftly decapitated him.This round was over but if Sir Gawain was to maintain his honor he had to go to The Green Knight's kingdom to give him a chance.
WHEN SIR GAWAIN ARRIVES
Sir Gawain did make his trek to the kingdom of the Green Knight. Upon his arrival and stay there, the queen attempts to seduce him and give him gifts but he refuses. He finally accepts a green sash said to keep him safe.
SIR GAWAIN'S TURN
Finally, the time has come for Gawain to face the Green Knight. The Knight takes his first swing but does not follow through, making Gawain flinch from fear. The Knight laughs then swings again, only just barely cutting Gawain's neck.
THE END
The Green Knight reveals he put his wife up to the offerings she gave Gawain and Sir Gawain is so embarrassed and ashamed that he leaves the kingdom and does not even stay for the rest of the holiday after he was invited.
