Backround summary:
This story is about a girl named Tris who lives in a world of factions she was born in Abnegation but after a test she becomes Dauntless.
The next parts she learns to jump on and off trains and gets trained by Four and Eric... They do a series of test called fear landscape to learn to face their fears. A faction named Erudit try to overcome all factions and rule the world. Tris and Four learn to share their secrets and resist together.
About the Character:
Beatrice is a strong-willed sixteen-year-old girl who hates showing weakness. Though Beatrice was born in the faction Abnegation, she eventually transferred to Dauntless and must face the fact that she is Divergent. When she arrived in her new faction, she opted for a change of name to go by. She decided to use Tris as a nickname for Beatrice, hoping for a fresh start in a new faction.
The story takes place in Chicago near the future. I know this because in the book it says " What was called the sears tower is now called the dome" from this we all know the sears tower is in Chicago and the date refers to 2090 so in the future.
Conflict one:
When the test results come back inconclusive (the proof to be Divergent) the test monitor [It's a person] has to discuss her results privately, and tells her to never share her result. Divergence is extremely dangerous and now she has to choose what faction to go in.
Conflict 2:
When Erudite decide to take over they inject dauntless with a serum causing them to sleep walk and be under Erudite command but the serum only works on the non-Divergent. So Four and Tris are the only ones not under the serum and they decide to rebel and conquer Erudite and put them to Justice.
The Exposition is when Tris is at home about to take the test and cuts her hair as Abnegation she has to be selfless that means they can only look at them self once and its before the test.
