POPE FRANCIS COAT OF ARMS
THE NEW POPE, POPE FRANCIS CHOSE TO KEEP THE SAME COAT OF ARMS HE HAD AS ARCHBISHOP BUENOS AIRES.
The coat of arms has an additional, the papal symbols surrounding it.
The additions are a gilded miter and cross golden and silver keys.
The shield is very simple, it depicts a star, a grape and a monogram of Christ.
These symbols represent the three members of the Holy Family.
The three members of the Holy Family are Jesus Mary and Joseph
