Interview #2

Angela Mooney
Jasmine began the interview by asking Angela what some of her biggest challenges as a runner. Angela responded quickly with the answer of running outside, and being prepared for someone or something to harm her.
Jasmine then proceeded to ask her how would that affect her running,
Angela answered with she looses motivation, out of 10 running sessions she encounters 1 incident of either being chased, or scratched by dogs, or even followed by people, particularly men.Jasmine then asked Angela how does she solve this issue. Angela answered back rapidly, and confidently answered, and said that she runs with mace, and carries her phone with her. She then added that those things give her a better level of confidence.
This interviewed occurred on Spetember 6th, at 3pm via phone call.

Our Findings

We found in our research that it is hard to manage time around daily exercise, as well as keep motivation to run when in fear. Finally, running takes away from time that could be spent with family, and friends.

Plan of Attack

Through our research we have come up with a couple ideas to help runners and make their active lifestyle easier. One idea we had would be a daily planner to organize time around running. Our second idea would be to invent a better dispense for mace so that runners can spray a attacker while running, and have confidence that their weapon would work against their attacker.
