  • The body paragraphs provide the details that support the thesis
  • Pick three points that work best together to prove a main idea or key idea

  • Restate the thesis in new words to remind the readers of the central idea.
  • Summarize the main points. Keeo main points in same order as body
  • Write an effective ending. Offer opinions, ask question, etc.
  • Keep it brief; 4-5 sentences
  • Conclusion sums up main points; it should balance the intro
