What is a main reason the Egyptians studied astronomy?

To be able to keep track of time. They used the rising and falling of certain stars to tell the time. It also helped them remember when to plant and harvest crops.

What did the Egyptian Pyramids line up with?

The Orion constellation.

What is the Heliocentric Theory?

Astronomical model where the Earth and other planets revolve around a relatively stationary sun at the center of the Solar System.

Who proposed and proved the Heliocentric Theory?

Copernicus was the first to propose this theory and the two that later proved it was Galileo and Kepler.
