TREATY OF VERSAILLES

ARTICLE 321: Germany would have to agree to give freedom of transportation through their territory. Any of the territory applicable would let some of the following transportation through such as wagons, carriages, people, busses, ships, etc. By granting that to any of the allies or Associated powers through waterways and territory there should be no problem or complications in passing through the country. There would be no Customs, that meaning there will be official checks from the imported goods passing through or coming in.

Article 325: Germany would have to pay the Allied and Associated powers from the reduced tariffs (taxes) on the railways or navigable waterways. So, be opening the ports it will do everyone a big “favor” and help everyone.

Article 326: Germany would be obligated to participate in the tariffs and opening of the ports, to secure the Allied and Associated Powers ports. Germany cannot refuse to participate.

Article 327: Germany would have to compromise with the other foreign nations passing through their territory. The other nations should be able to pass through the territory without complications. Germany should treat all of the other nations fair when coming either or into the German territory. There should be limits in the transportation going on be it person or a moving machine (ship or vehicle).

Article 331: The rivers the Elbe (Labe) from its confluence with the Vltava (Moldau), and the Vltava (Moldau) from Prague; the Oder (Odra) from its confluence with the Oppa; the Niemen (Russstrom-Memel-Niemen) from Grodno; the Danube from Ulm, are accessible from more than one state to have access to the sea. Therefore all of the waterways should be accessible to the other nations. Also, the Allied and Associated Power.

Article 363: The ports of Hamburg and Stettin Germany will be leased (granted;rented) to Czecho-Slovak State, for a period of 99 years. These two areas will be used for imports and exports for trading goods, being a freezone; free zone - an area adjoining a port where goods that are intended for reshipment can be received and stored without payment of duties.

Article 365: Any of the goods being imported or exported to or through Germany railways are to be in the best care or condition and have the best treatment and facilities. Be it the Allied or Associated Powers.

MAIN GOALS
The specific goal here was to get Germany to open their ports without any hassle. It was also to get the items and people going through and going out without complications as well.

IMPACT
This would help Germany because it would help them to get supplies when trading. It would also help them in the rebuilding of there city.

When reading this section I believed that this was very fair. It's fair because the main thing that Germany would do is be more freely in opening their ports.
