Animals...The Jelly Fish

  • There are 30,000 species of Jelly Fish
  • Jelly Fish are made of 95% water
  • Some Jelly Fish are larger than humans while others are as small as pinheads!!
  • Jelly Fish don't have a brain but some have eyes
  • A group of Jelly Fish is called a smack

Animals...The Dolphins

  • Dolphins are mammals so they give live birth
  • Dolphins swim in groups called pods
  • Only one side of a Dolphins' brain sleeps at a time so they keep breathing
  • There are about 100 teeth in an adult Dolphins' mouth
  • Dolphins can jump up to 6 meters into the air
  • Dolphins' tails are called flukes
  • They can dive up to 300 meters
  • Dolphins are almost as smart as humans

Animals...Sea Turtles

  • Green Sea Turtles have scaly skin
  • Sea Turtles can be brown, black, white, or green
  • Mothers lay eggs where they were born and can lay up to 15,000 eggs at a time!!
  • Jelly Fish stings don't always hurt green sea turtles

  • Sea horses have 100-200 babies at a time
  • Sea horses have no teeth
  • Sea horses are about 6 inches long as adults
  • Sea horses change color depending on what there're on
  • Sea horses have excellent eye sight and can look forward and backward at the same time!!
