  • Children learn by watching their parents
  • Had three principal groups, southern tlingit,northern tlingit,and the people of the gulf coast
  • Lives on own reservation
  • Each community had its own chief

  • Alaska, yukon, pacific, british columbia

  • Rainforest environment
  • Deer, eagles
  • The tribe hunt the deer for survival
