PRESENTATION OUTLINE
R is for Rumble, greasers and Socs had a big fight. Johnny was in a tumble with the Socs to protect Ponyboy. Also Dallas Winston was rumbling with gangs in while he was in New York.
S is for Socs, Randy opens up his feelings with Ponyboy. Cherry is helping the greasers. Bob was murdered by Johnny. Greasers and Socs were having a big fight.
T is for tough, Dallas Winston is strong and tough. The Greasers are known to be tough. During there big fight Vs. The Socs the greasers shown that they are tough.
U is for useless, dally felt useless when he was at the hospital. Resulting in dally making up excuses to get out of the hospital. Also Johnny was useless in the rumble.
V is for violence, Johnny Stabbed Bob to death and killed him. The Socs and Greasers have fights. In Chapter 9 the Socs started the fight with the greasers.
We is for Waive, Dally ends up waiving at the end of the book. Johnny death is to much for Dally to handle. Therefore Dally commits suicide.
X is for XIV, which means 14. Ponyboy is 14 years old. Making Ponyboy the youngest greaser at the rumble.
Y is for Youth, Ponyboy is 14 years old. Johnny Cade is 16 years old. Sodapop was 17 years old. They were all in school when they were greasers.
Z is for zero, when Ponyboy got approached by the Socs he felt zero emotions. He didn't feel sad or happy. Maybe the greasers have zero emotions for the Socs after the rumble.
