GROUNDWATER POLLUTION OCCURS WHEN POLLUTANTS ARE RELEASED TO THE GROUND AND MAKE THEIR WAY DOWN INTO GROUND WATER.

At least 50% of the world population depends on groundwater as a source of drinking water.

The problem with groundwater pollution is it causes people to have dirty water and groundwater pollution causes the land to rotten and die of its beauty.

Groundwater pollution can occur from sanitation systems ,landfills, waste water treatment plants, leaking sewers ,petrol stations and more. conditions.

Groundwater can be polluted / contaminated as a result of HUMAN activity and Natural CAUSES.

one of the frequent groundwater pollutants that is very hard to clean is vinyl chloride which can cause cancer and may lead to death
