FDR

  • He was elected 4 times and ran for 12 years in office
  • He was born on 12/30/1882 and he died on 4/12/1945
  • He loved the sea and collecting stamps was his hobbie
  • During TGD FDR said for to win his election he would get peoples jobs back
  • How FDR died was from a blood vessel that popped in his brain

THE IMPACT ON TGD AND OTHER STUFF

  • When FDR started out as president he put out 15 laws to help people
  • The New Deal gave people new jobs
  • FDR worked with Winston Churchill and Josef Stalin to defeat the nazis
  • He kept his promise to give people jobs
  • FDR instead of focusing on his new deal he focused on the three R's (Relief, Recovery, Reform)

  • FDR looked like his dad James Roosevelt
  • FDR was almost assassinated by Giuseppe Zangara but Guiseppe missed and killed Cermak
  • People with relief work thought that their jobs were going to be taken away by the SC
  • The "Second New Deal" was called this because a lot of new laws were past
  • FDR's "Second Hundred Days" created agencies that lasted a long time
