• Muhammad
• Began in 622 c.e.

Sects/denominations:
Sunn: is the largest denomination, and believe Muhammad don't designate a successor follow "Sunnah" or a custom.
Sni'lte: follow Ali the closet relative to Muhammad yo believe he did designate a successor.

Sacred writings and places of worship:
Quran means recitation because it was first heard in sermons and public readings place of worship and great mosque of iqba
