• The police protects and monitors people around the city
• The cell membrane protects and receives messages from other cells

• Drinks
• We chose to use drinks becaus drinks symbolize the cytoplasms fluid that fills bacteria

NUCLEUS

• City Hall
• City hall is in the middle of the city similar to a nucleus in the middle of a cell.

NUCLEOLUS

• Mail man
• A mail man carries messages similar to the nucleolus that carries RNA
• It also carries ribosmes

CYTOSKELETON

• Streets
• City streets are similar to the cytoskelton running throughout the cell
• The streets are long similar to a network of proteins

SMOOTH ER

• Calm waves
• Calm waves resmble smooth ER because they arent rough
• Similar to the way smooth ER dont have ribosomes

ROUGH ER

• Big waves
• We chose big waves to resemble the ribosomes on rough ER
• Rough ER can appear bumpy like rough waves

RIBOSOME

• Factories
• Factories resemble ribosmes because they produce things and ribosomes produce proteins

GOLGI APPARATUS

• Food packing plant
• Golgi apparatus packages and processes proteins
• They do this with food at a food packing plant

VESICLE

• Amazon
• Transports and contains objects throughout the city

MITOCHONDRIA

• Power plant
• A power plant produces energy to fuel the city
• Just like mitochondria

VACUOLE

• Water tower
• Water towers and vacuoles are both filled with fluids

LYSOSOME

• Land fill
• Land fills are used for waste somewhat like lysosomes.
• Lysosomes are used a "dygestive system"

CENTRIOLE

• Parenting classes
• Parental classes help parents be prepared for when the have kids

• brick walls
• Brick walls are pretty protective and are hard to get through

CHLOROPLAST

• Plants
• Photosynthesis occurs within plants and chloroplast helps that happen

• A bank contains people money and is close to the town hall
• A centrosome are located near centrioles
