• Orion was a handsome giant who could walk on water because Poseidon gave him the ability
• Orion served king Khios as a hunter for a part of his life.
• Rio. Was blinded for hurting the kings daughter merope.
• After this the giant retired to the island of Delos or Krete and became a hunting companion of Artemis.

Here is a story of Orion. Orion was walking with Poseidon, Zeus ,and Hercules. They stopped by hyries' house. Hyries was so generous he let them eat his only animal, an ox. Hyries was not aware that his guest were gods. Because he was so generous he granted Hyries one wish. Hyries' wish was to have a child. Orion told Hyries to bury bull hide in the ground and pour water on it. Soon a child will come down from heaven and become yours. The gods. Were so kind to people, especially Orion. He helped so many people that when he died people say that an arrangement of stars in the sky were where his soul went after he died.
