FOUNDER

• Adolf Dassler was the founder of adidas
• It was founded on August 18, 1949
• And started out as a shoe company

HOW ADIDAS GOT STARTED

• On August 18, the first shoe came out
• But it wasn't until the world cup that adidas
• Got famous from the Germany national soccer team
• Wore their shoes during a game

THE FIRST CLOTHING ITEMS

• In 1967 Franz Beckenbaurer modeled the first track suit
• After that adidas clothing skyrocketed in sportswear

1986

• In1986 is when Adidas gotten really popular in America
• Comming out with the well known three stripes shoes
• It became the fashion of 1980s

TODAY

• Today Adidas is making lots of new inventions
• In shoes, clothing and sports
