what causes a tornado
when warm southern air tries to rise and northern air block them as this happens the airs hit each other causing the warm air to twist around horizontally which makes a funnel its not a tornado until it touches the ground

a wall cloud is a huge cloud that is at the base of a storm that has a swivel to it
a funnel cloud extends from a wall cloud it rotates but its not a tornado until in touches ground
