JIMMY
- Jimmy is a dynamic character, who changes throughout his high school years. He is very athletic, loves playing baseball, but has a rough family life.
SETH
- Seth is also a dynamic character. He has to overcome challenges in his life which makes him stronger for his future.
SETTING
- The setting is a small town outside of San Francisco. The majority of the story takes place on a baseball field.
SCOFF
- Definition- speak to someone in a mocking way.
STEELY
- Defintion- expressing disapproval or displeasure
LUNGE
- A sudden forward movement.
PLOT
- Jimmy and Seth face challenges as young kids. Seth's dad died when Seth was only 7. Jimmy's parents get a divorce and his father becomes an alcoholic. The two boys become best friends through baseball.
