LEVER

  • Definition :A solid bar that rotates or turns around a fixed point
  • The lever has fulcrum aka (fixed point) it can be straight or curved
  • Ex. Hole puncher tweezers broom shovel

PULLEY

  • Definition: is a wheel with a grooved rim in which a rope can
  • Run and change the direction of the force.
  • Ex. Flag, dental floss, fishing rod

WHEEL & AXLE

  • Is a wheel that is attached to a shaft.
  • Ex. Cars, roller skates, and bicycles

SCREW

  • Def.Is a inclined plane wrapped around a cylinder
  • Ex.A jar lid, stair case, cork screw

WEDGE

  • Def. is a machine that has a thick end and a thin end
  • Ex.A fork, knife, fan, teeth

INCLINED PLANE

  • Def.a machine that is in a sloping surface.
  • Ex. Slides, and ramps
